Vinny Parascandola is an inspiring man that has led a successful life. As Senior Executive Vice President of AXA Advisors in New York, he helps families and small business’s take small manageable steps towards financial security. His responsibilities include taking care of recruiting, retention, sales, management development, productivity and the development of experienced and new financial professionals. His magnetic leadership qualities have led many people to seek him out for speaking engagements and Vinny has spoken at many different industry and company conferences. A couple of his inspiring speeches took place at LIMRA’s distribution conferences and GAMA’s national LAMP Meeting. He was won numerous awards for his management skills and among these were the Master Agency and GAMA’s Career Development Awards.
With 25 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry, Vinny Parascandola started out his career as an agent for Prudential where he was named National Rookie of the Year. After years with Prudential, he moved on and worked for MONY Life Insurance Company. There he held numerous regional and local field management positions and moved that company forward with his usual drive for excellence. In 2004, he joined up with AXA Advisors and began there as co-manager of the New York Metro branch where he led roughly 400 financial professionals. After that he became the president of The Advantage Group, which is a division of AXA Equitable that was put together to bring in experienced financial professionals.
Vinny Parascandola received a Bachelor’s degree in science from Pace University, New York, and was sought out to speak there directly to the graduating class of 2014. His commencement speech, which he gave to his alma mater, inspired many graduates and sent them off in the right direction to get their careers started. Vinny believes that education is hugely important in today’s world, and he supports young people with their education by taking part in the AXA Achievement Scholarship. By providing over $1.4 million in scholarships to people all over the United States, Vinny is happy to be a part of something greater than himself, alone.
